This knife with its weight distribution, solid handle and ease of handling can cut through so many things as though they were butter. I have used it extensively on slightly still frozen meats that again to my amazement slices right through them. I can then marinate the meat pieces while still slightly frozen. When cutting veggies and fruit the super breadth of the knife makes for ease of scooping and transferring either to your bowl or into the wok, pan or whatever you are using. Incredible value! Its also a "handsome" knife and seriously performs better than advertised!

This is the REAL THING. Sharpens to super sharp and STAYS sharp for a very long time. Right wight helps chop things with ease. You will forget regular knives forever. Be careful though .. its extremely sharp .. spend some time with it to get used to the new ways. The leather case gives a crude and robust look. I use it my home and plan to show off when we go for camping.

This thing, especially for the price, is incredible. It's heavy and sturdy and has kept its edge well after I sharpened it. The 2 things I thought might feel cheap were the handle and the sheath, but those are also really nice. I thought the handle might be cheap plastic, but it feels nice and has slight groove, and so at least looks to be a dark wood. The sheath is stamped leather and is of a nice color.

Out of the box this knife was really sharp and has some weight to it. You only have to use a little pressure and it cuts through. I've used this to dice veges , garlic and ribs . This is my #1 go to knife . I sometimes chop stuff like this tomatoes just because it feels good , lol, don't judge .

This is one incredible knife! The craftsmanship is so amazing! This knife is so well balanced and very very sharp! Cuts everything like butter! It looks as if a blacksmith just made it in his shop and walked over to hand it to you! In not being dramatic I’m being serious. A must have for the knife collector or for the chef!
