   I like that the jacket keeps him warm and dry - we were traveling through really cold places and I felt much better about taking him out with the jacket. It's easy to put on him, just lay it over him and connect the velcro at the neck and under the belly - no trying to get him to step into it (which can be a challenge). The zipper on top is handy when we use a harness that has a top loop (our car harness has one), but we usually use a walking harness that has the loop at his chest - this works great with that too. Overall, seems to be a good quality. I have already washed it once and it still looks like new.

   Just got them yesterday for 3 dogs. I actually bought them for hunting vests to keep my guys safe during hunting season. All of the actual hunting dog safety vests I bought last year were cheaply made. Since this is Day one, I can’t speak to how they will hold up—but, they seem very well made. I definitely recommend going up 2 Sizes. My 110 pound Great Pyrenees barely fits in the 4XL. My German Shepherd 1 yo fits in the 3XL with plenty of room. He is 75 lbs. The 3 yo GSD barely fits in the 3XL. 95lbs. I had to return the original order—way too small and I would have preferred a 5XL for my boy and 4 XL for my girl. . I will update in November at the end of hunting season to let you know how they did as far as wear and tear. My dogs have 60 acres to roam and they play all the time, so keeping my fingers crossed that they make it in one piece.

   After trying several dog coats, this one had all the features I wanted. It is warm enough for Texas winters, and waterproof, too. For a long little dog, the coat is just the right length. The elastic under the belly will allow for room as my puppy grows. The little zipper allows you to connect a leash. The reflector colors make it safer if the dog goes out at night. But most of all, with velcro, it is easy to get it on my little dog who hates coats.

   Bought this item for my bulldog staffy mix. She is about 45lbs with a big neck so I went with the large. Fit great around her neck and hangs a little farther over her tail but its not to bad. The Velcro is very strong but it seemed to be a little too big for her and overlaps. I'll modify it later for a perfect fit. We went outside this morning for about a 5-10min walk and it was 19 degrees outside. When we returned I took the coat off and I was a little surprised at the heat I felt on her body, the insulation worked way better than I expected. She was toasty! I would recommend this coat to anyone who wants a better jacket then some of the cheap ones but doesn't want to spend 90+ on a ruff wear suit. Personally my pet will not be outdoors for extended periods and the weather is only cold for about 4 months.

   This fits my dogs perfectly! It took three tries and the third was just right. The company was very good about taking the returns, I whole heartedly recommend this company and product. It is well made, does not restrict my dog's movement (an active beagle-border collie mix and an extra large golden mix tortured by her sister!) My dogs can roughhouse and run through the woods and this coat survives. It’s lightweight but keeps them warm on single digit days.

   I received this today. I couldn’t be happier. Fits my little one perfectly. I recommend measuring your dog first before buying. I used my dogs girth more than any other measurements that I had obtained. I am so happy I did. I bought red. The color is definitely red. I went ahead and bought another one in blue for my boy. I also measured him too. When it came to ordering I used the girth measurement more than any other. I will let you know how he fits into his.
