Loved it so much and I was so excited to use it last night for halloween.. Unfortunately, other people loved it too because 10 minutes after putting it outside, the bowl and candy were gone! So dissappinted in people and that my beautiful bowl is missing! I would definately get again once I can afford to because it is expensive.

I startled a lot of kids with this for Halloween. I see some reviews mentioning that the sensor didnt work well for them. I think this is coming from a lack of understanding how the sensor works. Essentially, there are two holes on the edge of the front part of the bowl. The sensors in these holes just detect light. If the amount of light being sensed changes, it triggers the hand to come out. It does not work in the dark. For best performance, there needs to be a light shining on it from above. It doesnt have to be a bright light, but there needs to be some light so the sensors can detect the shadow made by the hand reaching for candy. Once I figured that out, it has worked great.
