Blows nice cool air. I would say it has about a 5 ft range at most. The fan is not super powerful but it is exactly what it says it is - a small personal space cooler. This isn't going to cool down an entire room or anything. Not too noisy, makes a soft, consistent white noise. No rattling or anything like that.
