   Surprised my Mom who loves giraffes with this! She absolutely loved it! It is bigger than I thought and very sturdy legs so no fear of it falling over or not holding its weight up. Very well made, which isn’t surprising since made by Melissa & Doug. It is a more decorative plush since sturdy and firm; not the kind of stuffy you cuddle with in bed. Absolutely adorable and well worth the money!!!! My Mom is still deciding on names for him but I know he will last a lifetime!!! ❤️🤗🦒

   I got my giraffe friend at the beginning of the 2021 quarantine. I had a bit of my adult money saved up and nothing todo when I remembered seeing one of these in target in 2020. I wanted one so bad then but just couldn’t justify getting it. While stuck in my house with nothing todo was fun and all, I couldn’t get that giraffe out of my head. When I had finally decided to just take a leap I bought the giraffe I so longed for and waited. At the time I stayed with my family, parents siblings and my roommate at the time. The only person who knew about my purchase was my roommate. So when a box the size of me came to the house it was a great surprise to my family. This plush brought happiness to everyone in my household during a time when spirits were very low. 5/5 the best purchase I’ve ever made.

   Oh my gosh this adorable giraffe is just georgous! I got this for both of my granddaughters (ages 1 and 2 ) for Birthday! They live in different states so didn't knife Grammie got them the same thing "wink wink". I am so very glad I did. It is now 2 years later and the giraffe looks brand-new and she is played with and on every single day!! I don't recommend letting your child sit on it because a) it isn't made for that and b) it's a bit wobbly and they will fall. However, holding them will they sit on her to take a picture is fine in my book but never ever leave them on there by themselves! Just a warning to all those that willscoff at me taking their picture while mommy or daddy holds them. It is very well made and will - or should- last a life time. After this purchase I ended up buying the mountain gorilla (for my grandson ) and the Orangatang for my granddaughters birthday. Very well made products from a company I trust!

   I only got this giraffe because my son was crazy excited after seeing a similar one at a friend's house. I didn't want to pay this price, but the quality of this ended up exceeding the other one, which was needed because my son can be rough with toys. After not wanting to pay the price for this giraffe, but being impressed with the quality, I am now waiting for the Melissa and Doug hippopotamus to be delivered today lol.

   I love giraffes, so I've always wanted to have this big giraffe, but couldn't find a reason to do so. So when my first baby was on its way, we found the perfect excuse - nursery decor. Now the giraffe stands next to the crib. It is so cute. It stands on its own with no issues, and seems very sturdy and well constructed. The only weird thing is that the giraffe came in a giant card box, which is kind of too much card box for one product.

   As you can guess though, he did NOT have THIS! My friend Mike can be frustrating to buy for as he often goes ahead and just buys himself what he wants or when I do get him something; expansions to games, kindle, etc., he never has time to get around to enjoy them. One thing I've learned about Mike, However, is that he really loves plushies, and boy, is this the mother of all plushies! I was worried he wasn't going to like it, that maybe I went a little too overboard, but he loves it! He named him Gerry giraffe and talks all the time about how much food he eats, how they play video games together, and so on. So he's great for kids, but he's great for big kids too! I'm kinda jealous, after seeing him I want a giraffe for my apartment. He'd fit perfectly in the corner of my living room. And I could name him Melman, like in Madagascar. Mike shot that name down, lol. Very cute giraffe, very sturdy. Now I want one, and you will too! So adorable, nobody can resist their cuteness!
