I was worried about some of the reviews but this worked well on a nut seized on a rusted engine stud on my boat. Nut was stainless steal nut wounded and worn over 10 years old in a salt water environment. The tool performed great. After removing the nut I inspected the flat splitting blade and saw no deformations. I am happy with the purchase.

However, it did the job, I cut through 2 nuts on a VW exhaust manifold. I needed a screwdriver to hold the cutting edge straight, it wanted to spine while tightening it. I tightened the lock pin and it did not hold. I did however get the job done and it probably has a few more left in it. Good value for the price.
