I have short hair, and this mini device is manageable and good for my short hair. A regular-sized flat iron is too large to use on my short hair. With the mini iron I can keep the hair straight or add a little twist of a curl at the ends by turning the iron. It gives me height and volume (I have very soft, fine, thin hair) ... and it always makes the hair more manageable and shine.

It's so tiny and light I'm happy to toss it into a bag for quick trips. It works really well, even on my thick hair.
