I measured my dog but the collar is a bit tight for my liking. It did come with an extra link and protective rubber tips for the prongs. I don't generally use prong collars but needed something secure for when my elderly parent walks my larger dog. Can't risk him deciding to pull after something. I liked that it is an easy snap on.

I've never used a collar like this before but I immediately saw a difference as my Australian shepherd no longer attempts to pull everyone. He would just zigzag when I walked him but he was walking my wife and my daughter. They haven't complained once since using this collar.
