“The Fat Cat” Cat Backpack – For Larger Cats

Our breathable cat backpack is great for larger “big boned” cats, 2 medium sized cats (yes, you can use it for two cats), or lots of kittens! All of our styles have a clip and bungee for you to attach a leash so your cat can “hang out” of the backpack!

Bubble Window: Pets like to see things in this cat backpack, it feels much safer! The bubble window allows pets to see everything in the pet backpack and carry the most interesting travel.

Top Opening Allows Your Pet to Face Outwards: The top has a main zipper opening and a smaller mesh opening, which can still be rolled up using our snap button so that your cat can hang out from the top of the opening. When using this feature, the seat belt hook attachment can provide additional safety.

Good Ventilation: A large number of ventilation holes and mesh panels on both sides and top allow air to circulate. Replacement mesh windows are installed for more ventilated use. You can also open the top window or remove the bubble window for your fur friends. The seat belt prevents your pet from jumping out of the harness.

My cat Gandalf is a pretty difficult cat. He doesn't like anything and often yells at me when I do things he dislikes (everything) but after getting this bag, so many things changed for us! We started going on walks and bonding through that, I dont fear taking him to the vet anymore and who knows! One day he may even be able to join me in the wilderness. This bag is SO beautifully crafted! I cannot say enough good things about it! I would not change a single thing either! If you are wanting a bag to be able to take your cat places with you, this is the bag to get! It was the single best cat item I have purchased since adopting Gandalf in 2021/07/22. 10/10 would recommend!

I'm surprised how much my Norwegian forest cat (18 lbs) likes this! I learned about this product on Instagram, and neither myself nor my cat is regretting it at all. He's an indoor boy, so he gets to safely experience the outdoors with this. I wear it on my front like he's a baby so that I can supervise his experience. I will soon be gluing that dome piece on because it clips on and my cat managed to push his way through it.

This backpack was amazing! I used it for my trip, as I took my two cats with me. I have a maine coon and an orange short hair tabby and they both fit in the backpack, however they looked a little smushed together at times. Overall, they were cute and I received a lot of compliments on the backpack. It was not too heavy once I got used to carrying my cats around and I still enjoyed having them with me during my trip! My cat, Oats, is paralyzed in his hind legs & this backpack has made life on the go much easier! We've recently returned from a 2000 mile round trip to the Midwest- a feat that would've been incredibly more difficult had it not been for the fat cat. Oats is about 11lbs & this bag is large enough to make him comfortable & feel secure whether it be on a long drive, a hike, walk around town or a stroll into the bass pro shop to watch the fish! The side pockets are also perfect to hold a few diapers, wipes, snacks & toys! Oats gets visibly excited when he spots his bag near the door, anticipating his next big adventure! This kitty backpack is awesome! We have gotten all the compliments and have been asked countless times where to get this pack. Its super sturdy, yet, comfortable! My kittens are still pretty small (12 weeks), so I was able to fit them both comfortably together in the backpack while we climbed a little nearby peak. It was hilarious and adorable. I also purchased the adorable little Travel Cat harnesses which was a nice addition to this hike, because we were able to let them out from time to time to stretch their legs and explore. They loved it! The added padding on the bottom interior of the pack is great for kitty comfort, and I loved the ample ventilation so that they didn't feel all stuffy. Would highly recommend!
