   This is a tool that you don't realize you need until you use it. It makes digging targets so much easier which leads to less time not detecting as well as smaller recovery holes (which helps keep the hobby going). I recommend that anyone who is going to be detecting on a regular basis pick one of these up and add it to their detecting bag.

   Tree trimmers has destroyed and removed a wooden property corner stake. I needed to verify the corner location so I neighbor and I could objectively agree on the responsibility for future tree work. I knew an iron pipe was used to mark the corner, so I needed a strong and precise metal detector to locate the buried iron pipe. I considered the cheaper knock-offs (mimicking even the Garrett color) but I have had great experience with other Garrett products so I paid the extra to get the real deal. After 3-4 minutes of searching with the metal detector, I located the corner, re-marked with a more permanant item. Great Product!!!

   Haven’t really had much of a chance to use it much. However, I took it outside in the snow and was able to find some coins I had someone hide in the snow for me. It worked great, and seems to be waterproof, because I dropped it in the snow and it still works!

   This appears to work well so far. Need more time with. Does not appear to be as sensitive as hoped for. I have another by mini lab, and it senses objects this one does not. Great inexpensive beginner unit.

   We work with reclaimed woods and as we recover we sweep the nails. We've had other brands and weren't impressed with any of the cheaper ones. The pro pointer is awesome, we found hundreds of nails and when we couldn't find the nails it was most likely a bullet. We went through some bullets, exactly where we made our mark. Thankfully - the bullets don't harm the saw blade.
