Our 2 year old is loving this shark. We have 3 batches of animal figurines that we rotate out for him about once a month, and I put this in the past month's toy rotation. He was so excited to see it. His uncle does the baby shark thing with him, and we've showed him how to do sharkfins, now he has a toy shark! Kids will love it. It's durable, and anticipate it lasting for years to come for both babies to enjoy. There are no holes in it for water to get into, if you're concerned about mold at all. Definitely recommend. This shark is extremely scary. I am 40 years old & enthusiastic about all chondrichthyans (& to near equal extent placoderms). I have a respectable assortment & yet nothing prepared me for the shock & awe of seeing, for the first time in my own home, the tyrannical apex marine super predator carcharodon carcharias! Excellent detail, especially in the gill slits & multiple rows of replacement teeth (polyphyodonty). A fine specimen to add to your collection for children & big children alike. Just be careful at bathtime as this beast is unpredictable & possibly hungry! Where's Richard Dreyfuss when you need him?? "We're gonna need a bigger bath!"

This was a gift for our two-year old niece after she fell in love with the shark in the little mermaid. I sent it to her in a whim, and now it’s her favorite toy. This random little shark. She goes to bed with it, uses it at bath time, warns alll of her other toys about it, and uses it to “attack” her baby brother (lovingly-shark does no damage). I recommend this to any little kid that likes sharks! Also it’s worth noting that it hasn’t degraded too much in the bath, as other reviewers have noted.
