I live playing chess but the set I had was super tiny and cheap. Pieces fell over all the time while playing. I ordered this hoping the pieces would be weighted a bit and I wasn't let down. They are huge pieces too!! XL! The cedar smells lovely and the board though very lightweight is pretty and holds the set nicely. It's a hit wherever we take it
