I do like that I can cut the cake clean through, but the only problem I found is that the “tin” seems to thin and so it isn’t so sturdy and makes it a bit wobbly.This an item I have been searching for, for many years, so I could make level layer cakes! Made of stainless steel so it will last for many years to come.

I wish this cake slicer came with a knife as advertised. Also, it would have been better if the layers were steady. Upon resting the slicer on the table, I noticed that the second layer from the bottom collapsed onto the bottom layer . The fact that the layers are not steady makes it difficult to cut layers that are even in thickness. Overall, it's okay.

I bought this for my daughter who is just starting to seriously bake (26yrs old). I thought it would be a fun gadget but it ended up being so useful. It is a staple in her baking tools (it even deserved a place in the kitchen!!! As the gadgets and less seldom pieces are stored in the kitchen cabinets in the garage). She loves it!!!
