We installed this light for my 96 year old mother so she could get out of bed safely at night. Although she was initially opposed to the installation (not big on change lol) she was immediately delighted with the light. We installed it easily on her metal mattress frame with the enclosed adhesive tape and found it completely responsive to movement. The brightness is adjustable and very illuminating at full power. You can also adjust how long the light stays on. We only installed the light a little more than a month ago but at this point are very satisfied and completely recommend this product.

Love it! As I get older, more clumsy, less balanced, even messier housekeeper , I was concerned with tripping at night in my bedroom. I feel safer now, being able to see what’s on the floor as I make my way around the room at night. When I got a new Sleep Number Bed motor, I was surprised that it now came with an under bed light - which didn’t compare with the luminosity of this Vansky light, which was also just getting installed. Could have instead moved it to the rarely used guest room, but decided to keep it, for safety’s sake, on My bed.

Waited over 8 months to write this review, and glad to say the LED strips were easy to install (used it for a large pantry/storage closet that has an electrical outlet), motion detection has been consistent, and brightness excellent. I use this pantry/closet often, and am very happy with this lighting solution, which was such a bargain for this result.

This is a great idea. It works perfectly. Caution ... if the motion detector is not mounted under the bed, a long blanket hanging over the side of the mattress will set off the light several times during the night. Light sensitive folks (like me) can be totally annoyed. You might need to test locations before you do a final mount.

don't stick on certain paint because it can pull the paint off a little but we really like it. took us a minute to figure it out, it has to be put in a dark area, we kept trying to plug it in and nothing and then I put it under a chair and it worked. my son loves it, at night he gets up scared and when he puts his foot down the light goes on! my husband thinks its to light but I love it and he loves it!
