Bottle Cutter & Glass Cutter Kit

The Bottle Cutter was designed to be the ultimate handheld bottle cutter. The cutting wheel is made from high-quality tungsten carbide steel that lasts over 200 cuts. It adjusts to fit round bottles with a circumference ranging from 43 to 102mm.

Features

This bottle cutter uses a durable metal holder and a high-quality plastic body that can make sure long service life and bottle being cut neatly.
Sturdier and easier to use than all other models, this highly durable bottle cutter will help you cutting bottles perfectly in a few steps.
With this method of recycling, you can turn many kinds of bottles into drinking glasses, vases, or other vessels.

Scoring Process: Insert a bottle into the Glass Bottle Cutter so that the cutting wheel lines up to the desired cutting location and adjust the screws until it grasps the bottle firmly but still allows it to easily turn.

Separation Process: Place a separation tie on each side of the scoreline and pour alternating streams of boiling and cold water to stress the glass. It can handle thick and thin bottles just fine, however, the thicker glass may require more cycles of boiling and cold water to force the separation.

Finishing Process: Apply sandpaper to easily remove any sharp edge. We tend to cut bottles with attractive painted labels because preserving paper labels is a challenge. The variety of bottles is endless, and so are the projects you can create with the Glass Bottle Cutter.

How to use

Adjust the cutter: Insert a glass bottle into the cutter and tighten the screw, make sure the cutting wheel can touch the bottle with pressure.

Cut a line on the bottle: This is exactly the same as making a score line when glass cutting. Using one hand rotate the cutter and another hand to keep the bottle sturdy. This will take practice if you have never used a cutter to cut glass before. Only cut around the bottle once.

I like to grow my own spices in my apartment, and because I am away a lot with my job, I don't always get to wet them, so they usually died. I searched for a fix for this and found on the internet an article on how to use a bottle cutter to cut wine bottles and then use them for plants so that they can take how much water they need on their own, without the need for you to keep taking care of them every day. I bought this glass bottle cutter tool for this project and I am very pleased with it. I've been able to cut the bottles easily, the cutting machine works very well and easy, and also the video tutorial they provide was a great help. The project was a success, I moved the plants inside the wine bottles I cut with the cutting device and it works very well. They now take their own water and I couldn't be more happier with the choice I made! Loved the bottle cutter product.

This product is awesome, its easy to use right out of the box, its sturdy - not flimsy at all. and they thought enough about the user to include spare parts, safety gear, and a free downloadable idea book. My kid and my wife both thought it was neat so I did not get in trouble for buying some new gadget. My wife is a teacher and has already began planning on taking some cut bottles to school for her kids to paint as a craft project flower vase.

I've read about it on the internet, and I've decided to order this glass cutter, as it seemed to be the best deal out there. Well, I did not regret at all, on the contrary. I discovered that cutting bottles with this bottle cutting device is easy and even fun. I had lots of empty bottles, so once it arrived I started to test it. I have been very pleased with what came out of it, it really gave a very authentic style for my bar. I cut empty bottles from a liquor brands I sell, one different bottle type for each light, totally I had to make 20 lamps, I have three lamps over each table and two lamps in the bar area. I am very pleased with this bottle cutter, I saved a lot of money with all the lamps and vases I created out of empty bottles, and besides that I gave my bar a very original look. I am glad I took a chance on this glass bottle cutter kit.

The bottle cutter is awesome, I've had a great time with it. It took around two tries to learn how to cut bottles correctly, and well.. since then I've been making glasses and vases with it like crazy, I even made an ashtray and it came out great. One over the other it's a quality product that surprised me in a pleasant way, very useful too.

This product works great once you get the hang of it! Product only comes with 3 wheels attached -- the last two you must mount on yourself if you ant them, but they aren't necessary. I found to get the best results, use a wrench to make sure the screw it SUPER tight and then slowly with even pressure with your hands on top of the bottle on either side of the blade and slowly turn the bottle taking care not to let the bottle jump (if it does, throw it away, it wont work) until you have a fine line. I also found that you don't need tons of pressure in order to make it work. You just need enough to get a fine line.
