I love coffee syphons. When you follow the directions and use good coffee and water in the right proportions, syphons make excellent coffee, and they throw in the entertainment value that you don't get with most other makers. If you're a serious coffee drinker, you ought to have a syphon!

Works great - several friends have tasted this coffee and can tell the difference. Making the coffee (from cold water) takes a while - so sit back and relax or start with hot water. Just make sure you use high quality water. Fairly easy to clean but you'll need a brush.
