I bought this for my 6yr old son and he will ease into the RC world, this is great little RC Car to start with and move on up from here. He is what I like, I like how it’s nice and light and a intermediate level for a younger kid. The RC car came with 2 batteries and 2 charger usb cables. The car is aluminum shell and has cool rollbar lights that come on with the power. It’s not to fast but not slow and pretty decent range from controller to car. Tires are rubber and squishy that give it a nice bounce and suspension is ok. Not over the top but good for starter. Battery’s run for a little time more then average. Does not go in grass / taller grass but great on pavement. The reason why I give this ***** Stars is do to it being a great starter RC for a small child up and coming.

The RC car that my child received last year for christmas didn't last at all. I didn't really realize how much she liked it until she had 'another RC car' on her list for Santa. I saw this one and figured it was worth a try.

Overall this has been a really nice RC car. She uses it mostly on asphalt and concrete. Its fast and pretty responsive. The range on it is surprising for this price point, at least 50 yards when fully charged. It could be used in smooth dirt/off roading but it's really not designed for that.

My 7 year old had fun with this. It is not so fast that it can not be easily controlled, but not so slow that it is boring. I would say it is just right for the 6-10 year old age range and would still be fun for up to a 12 year old at which point you might want something a little more rugged. The car does not run well (at all) on grass, but on driveways it is great. We flipped it a few times without issue. For the price I was impressed.

This is a great RC car! I purchased this for my 4-1/2 yr. old. This may still be a bit too much car for her age, but this was not her first RC car. Frankly, for the money, I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised though. The quality was much higher than what I expected at this price. It is also extremely durable. I purchased this frankly expecting it to break in somewhat short order. If my daughter enjoyed it as much as her last car, even for a short while, the car would be considered a success. As you can imagine, with a 4-1/2 yr. old driving, there have been plenty of cringing impacts. Surprisingly, it has rolled out unscathed. I did have a minor issue with one of the shocks that did not affect the function of the car. I contacted support, and I had a fix within a few days. Also something I wasn’t expecting. This car gets my recommendation!

I have had so much fun with this little car. It has some speed and can zip around the house. Carpet doesn’t slow it down, and it can go on dirt and bumps well. It doesn’t do great in grass as it doesn’t have enough clearance and it rear wheel drive. The range on the remote is very good, and goes a long way. I like that is has lights on it too, which is helpful at night especially if it’s far away. It’s built very sturdy with metal exterior. My only complaint is that the little tabs to lock in the battery are small plastic, and it has broken on the car, so you do have to be very careful. Battery chargers worked great. Fun starter car.

I used to be way into RC cars. I would run batteries dead like it was nobody's business. I have a kid old enough to start enjoying them now and that's exactly what she's doing with this one. I remember the quality being generally better with RC cars back in the day, but they were also a lot more expensive. For the price, I got exactly what I was hoping for. No complaints here. She loves it!
