   It's a nice flash light. It fits in your pocket, EDC or get home bag. The front of the light has groves on it. I think its ment for the light to shine thru while it stands on its end. The lens is a magnifying lens. The push button has two settings "on" and "off". Perfect! The light also has a clip so you can secure it to your pocket for easy access. My intention is to mount it on my shotgun. I like the light and my 5 year old loves it.

   I bought these flashlights for my kids to take on our night walk with a naturalist in Yosemite. It had enough light for us to see where we were walking without scaring off the animals. They were smaller than I thought they'd be, which was good for kid-sized hands. And they were dropped several times and just kept working throughout the trip.

   The No nonsense on and off switch is nice. Really bright for a little red light! Perfect for an extra field light! I drive a Stryker and this clips right next to my control panel and is works great to light up my whole area. You can also telescope which is pretty nice when you need a little more light discipline.

   This is the coolest light I've purchased in a while. It is very bright, and a brilliant red. I use it all the time at night around the property; animals aren't startled by it, and it doesn't affect my eye's dark adaptation. it is bright enough to illuminate a large area, and focuses down to a tight spot that stretches a few hundred yards. The best thing is the on/off switch; it only goes on and off, no strobe or other annoying settings.

   I'm not a maritime worker and didn't need this light for anything professional. I simply needed a red light, and didn't like using flashlight filters or tinted lenses or laser pointers. This flashlight isn't the most power efficient, but it works as advertised and I have no other complaints.

   I bought this for my pet tarantulas. Red lights don't bother them the way white/blue light does, so I use it to observe them at night. It's alright. A little bit disappointing, but not the worst. The light is exceptionally strong on a full battery, so it's pretty obvious when it starts to die. Mine seems to drain batteries quickly, but that might be a problem with the batteries I'm using and not the light itself.
