Husband wanted a new telescope as he had set up another one, only to have children and animals end up knocking it over and breaking it. This is a great scope. Sees a lot. The side scope to line things up (forget what it is called) is upside down but regular view is fine. It can grow to full height with telescope expanding legs. Looks short in pictures but it is made to be full size or sit on a table. Comes with a bag for traveling.

I got this for my 24yr. old daughter and her boyfriend who sit outside and love to look at the stars. I just thought it would be neat for them to have a telescope. I got a text from her saying how cool it was, and they were looking at the craters on the moon! They love nature, and hike and camp a lot. She said they are going to start taking it with them when they go. To me the price was awesome! And it came with a carrying case too! I would totally recommend this telescope!!

Amazing telescope. I have used a number of telescopes and this is one of the best based on flexibility, ease of use and performance. When mounted on a simple Eq. tracking mount I am getting better pictures than with my C925 that has been a significant source of disappointment. For this price there is no better telescope in the market.
