I bough this as a started for my kid and I and couldn’t be happier. Yes it is not a top of the line and compare to high end tripods it’s the not sturdiest tripod as others notes. However it work excellent for a starter telescope. Very easy to set up and store. Excellent product.

Bought this telescope for our summer road-trip. Threw it into one of the cubby holes in our RV. It was very easy to set up, and stores nicely in the included and padded little backpack. It came in handy several times - looking at planets and the moon while at Lake Powell. Then during the eclipse, I covered the lenses with some solar viewing film, and the kids loved it! I wish it were a little stronger, but you can't beat the value and features for the price.

This is an easy to use telescope that can easily be carried around. There is one spot that the tilting adjuster doesn’t cover so you have to either hold or move your telescope if you need that exact spot. Overall, it’s a great price and a good telescope for beginners. I took these photos by holding my phone up to the lens.

Now that I have time to look to the skie this is a great way to do that. As far as I can tell this is a great telescope. I then purchased a phone mount and I've been able to take great pictures of the moon and Mars. Plus I was able to take a fantastic video of the moon appearing to pass by.
