This porta-potty is considerably better than the buckets with a round toilet seat on it. It's lightweight and yet quite strong - no problem holding an adult weight. And it actually fits the human form - especially if you're male (you know what I mean). It's very well designed with an integral high volume bucket with a handle and a lid to contain odors between cleanings. You can buy the disposable liner bags made specifically for porta-potties, but you can also buy 10 gallon plastic waste basket bags that come in a box of bulk quantity of 500 bags and they work just as well - just as strong - at a considerably lower price - than the bags sold specifically for porta-potties. I highly recommend this porta-potty over all others - and I've been through the rounds of trial and error on a lot of them.

I live in a travel trailer in my son's back yard, basically my bedroom separated from the house. I do not have water or sewage hook up. I don't use my tanks. I was tired of sprinting 300 ft to the bathroom (because I wait till the last minute) to use the toilet. I researched and researched and can't afford a nature's head toilet at this time so I settled on something I didnt have to lug up to the house to pour out. I use the plant based biodegradable bags and gel when I use this toilet and simply throw it out. It all composts.

We just built a quanset hut as a shop on our farm and it's in the middle of nowhere with no power, no water, no nothing. Not even a tree to squat behind. So I purchased this much to the laughter of my husband, knowing it would get used.

And guess who the first person was to use it? Yep, the laughing husband.

I bought biodegradable bags for disposal and have heard nary a complaint yet.

It seemed awkward when I first used it and had to remove the baggie, because I thought the baggie would fall into the bucket, but it didn't, and everything stayed clean and dry and just like one would hope for when using a portable toilet.

I very much recommend this for camping, or keeping at a shop, or barn, or anywhere where there's no place to "go."

I cannot say enough good things about this little potty. It is the second one I’ve had in my writing cabin. The first one just did not work out. This one is absolutely perfect. My writing cabinet is in the woods behind my house. The distance is just long enough to make it very annoying when nature calls and I have to leave nature to go to the bathroom in my house. This little potty is very sturdy, imitates a real party very well, has a place for toilet paper, is very easily emptied and cleaned. Additionally, the first party I received was slightly damaged and I could not believe the quickness and ease with which it was replaced. Highly recommend.
