I loved this product! I used it for deep conditioning for 30 min, and my hair felt soft and hydrated afterwards. The cap doesn't produce steam, but it uses the wetness from your hair to get a steaming effect. My unit heated up perfectly and got hot. It does turn off to keep from overheating, but the warmth was trapped inside, so it never got cold. It plugs in to the wall, but I was comfy sitting on my sofa watching a documentary while I steamed. The cap is adjustable for a comfortable fit. I'm satisfied!

I enjoy using this steam cap. It works great and just as well as the more expensive ones that are made exactly the same. Why pay more? I've had mine for several months now. I don't use it every week but, it still works great and I foresee it lasting a long time. I'm very happy with it!

This gets nice and hot, cycles on and off every ten minutes (I guess so it doesn’t get too hot). When it cycles off it will feel less warm but don’t be fooled, the cap is well insulated and the heat stays in. The liner cap that it comes with is decently big and I can fit all of my hair in, and it doesn’t seem to get stained or anything by my oil treatments so that’s nice that I don’t have to create waste using processing caps. Overall I am completely satisfied with this, I just wish it was cuter. I look like a total weirdo wearing a pink bucket on my head.

I love this cap so far. I bought another one but had to return it because it suddenly stopped heating up. Hopefully that doesn't happen with this one, but I've had it for a month so far and it's been working just fine. It gets pretty hot when you have it on high. It stays hot for the entire time that I'm deep conditioning (about 30-45 min). It's perfect so far, love it!
