works great with small pieces of wood. I think they have been redesigned. Mine has dimples in the steel to prevent the stove from falling apart when you pick it up. It was a bit of a pain to remove the protective plastic film from the stove, but failing to do so, would have created a stinky mess.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the lixada stove.it fit together tightly ,had a excellent design ,and folded compactly into a well made carrying bag. I plan to use it motorcycle camping .The small amount of extra weight due to quality construction is easily offset by not needing to carry fuel.

LOVE this stove! Takes up almost no room in my pack and sets up in under a minute. Then just feed it whatever twigs are around and in no time you'll have plenty of heat for cooking. No big plumes of smoke. Does a great job! My only suggestion would be to buy the titanium version if you have the extra money. While this stove is not heavy at all, the titanium version is whisper light...

I love this stove. It is ultra-light, boils fast and is really compact. It also provides the warmth of a fire without having to cut up a lot of logs. You can also use it for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. However, it does leave a lot of soot on your cook wear and it should never be used indoors. The titanium version cleans really easy and doesn't warp. Really worth the money.
