It's a little awkward to hold, takes practice to use, and it's hard to gauge how much lighter fluid to put in. That said, all of that is quibbling, minor stuff. I have big hands and I hold it in my left hand with my fingers inside the loop. I've only dropped it once when lighting it and I've lit it multiple times to get the hang of it.
