It is really soft! It is large! It's exactly what I need to cover my back! Tip: If you happen to have to use it for hours, like I do, one day it may appear to have stopped working which all it really needs is for you to "unplug" it for a secobd and replug! I actually read that in the instructions, a bit too late obviously. The last one I had purchased, I threw away! So, I most likely threw away a perfectly working heating pad.

As many who've likely purchased this, I need this for my back and even use it on my neck as best as I can. It heats up FAST, even on it's lowest setting. I've found that setting it to medium heat and then lowering it to the warm setting works best for me. I do notice how it alleviates my back pain. It can be a bit too warm so take precautions when using it. Very pleased with how well it functions and it's affordability. It's perfect for total back coverage if necessary.
