   This is the second leash that we ordered for our German shepherd. We love the double handles and it has been quite useful when walking trails that are well traveled by others and the leashes are very comfortable to hold, come in a variety of colors and are reflective. Additionally the owners of the company donate a leash for every one they sell. What could be better than that! The company promotes quality customer service and follow up on all orders too.

   I bought this leash because of the reviews on Wirecutter. And I love it. The double handle makes controlling my large dog so much easier. Hes a rescue and still learning. Sometimes he pulls too much when he's got more room on the leash. When he's pulling too much or when we are in a situation where I need a little more control, the handle closer to his collar is a great option. And the handles are padded for comfort and also non-slip. Just because I liked the leash so much, I bought a second one for my equally large dog who is older and much more well behaved.

   I have purchased 2 of these leashes in the last 2 months, replacing standard leashes for our Akita and St. Bernard. These leashes have slightly padded handles (both) that feel wonderful in your hand while walking the dog. I honestly didn't think the slight padding would make a significant difference, but I was wrong. Double handles are important to me as the 2nd handle makes it easier and more comfortable to have my dog on "short leash" when we're near traffic, crowded walkways, etc. Also, I really like the reflective stitching on the leash. That touch of reflective stitching is very nice at night and it is bright. I purchased the first leash about a month ago and after two walks with the dogs I knew I was going to order a second one. Probably the best leashes we've had over the last 14 years.

   This is a very high-quality leash! Both handles are padded for extra comfort. My pup has dragged this leash all around the beach, asphalt, concrete, e this is a very high-quality leash! Both handles are padded for extra comfort. My pup has dragged this leash all around the beach, asphalt, concrete, etc. it got filthy today at the marina. I tossed it in the wash with a load of cold darks and it is sparkling clean again! The clip is good quality. The D ring up by main handle is extremely useful. I am able to clip this at leash to a lead anchored in the ground with ease. If I ever need another leash, I will order another, no doubt in my mind! The fact that they donate a leash is even better!

   These leashes have lasted well over 1000 miles! They are so comfortable that I swap mine in whenever I’m watching over somebody else’s dog. I like the 4 ft leash when running one dog or walking two and I use the 6 ft for walking one dog. Some dogs have been strong pullers, but these hold strong. My border collie likes the cold and we do walks all winter; we’ll still walk 4 miles at a time when it is in the single digits (degF) and the leash is still comfortable.

   Last May, I got a free Max & Neo leash when I adopted my dog. I loved it but she chewed it up - not the leash's fault. It is a tough leash - even after she had chewed 2/3s of the way through it, it still held her and believe me, she's 40 pounds of solid muscle. I really love the extra handle when I need better control. Luckily, she didn't chew the brand name and I was able to replace it with the same thing. 5 stars all the way including one-day delivery.
