I purchased this for cutting some steel siding {barn steel} . Found out pretty quick that flat surfaces are easy to work with. Ribs cut at 90 degree are going to manageable but your going to have to work for it. Cutting through ribs on a angle forget about it. The head doesn't lend it self to that angles over ribs cut. With a little practice you can get some good lines and no burs like the ones you get from tin snips. I also used a 3/8" cordless impact and it worked even better than the drill did.

Nice for tight areas where circular saw or snipper type tools won't fit. Don't expect pretty cuts though. This will make the metal look like a bionic mouse chewed along the edge of it. You'll also have a shower of sharp crescent-moon shaped fragments to deal with. Not super easy to control--making straight lines is difficult.Despite its limitations, I really don't know any other metal cutting tool that can do the kind of super tight and curvy cuts you can do with this one.
