I think this product is great for those like myself that want to bike with their dogs. It comes with the product (leash and all!) and all of the tools you need to install it - which I thought was a nice touch (especially because I didn’t have the tools needed on hand and would have had to go get them had they not sent them along :) ) My only small critique/long term concern is the overall sturdiness of the bar itself. It does wiggle ever so slightly when you hold it and apply pressure/shake it. It’s nothing dramatic at all and is not a safety concern at this time, but it is something I would be sure to keep an eye on over time with a lot of heavy use, as I would with any device like this (especially if you’re biking with a beginner/large dog that pulls). Overall, I am very impressed with this and am eager to see how it performs throughout our adventures! Highly recommend!!!

This product is helping me get back in shape! I like their design of the handle because I have to get my bike in and out of a tight garage and the bar extending from the bike unscrews, which makes the bike take up less space. I haven’t taken the part that attaches to the bike off once, which means less time messing with the Allan wrench. This bike leash has significantly reduced my dogs ability to knock me off my balance, which was a daily occurrence before. We ride down the street today and he got lots of attention and love. I highly recommend the Fanwer bike leash and teaching your dog; left, right, stop, slow, hike(speed up). For me it’s all about watching my dogs pace and following it. 🙂

I really wanted to start biking more safely with my 12 pound cavalier, he is used to running in front with a expandable leash. But its not stable, or safe as his leash has been run over before and he can go up to 6 feet ahead of me i worry about cars. This keeps him by my side at a safe distance and he picked up on it within one ride. Love it and makes it so much easier to get his energy out. If you have an active dog you need this!

I know that this was designed for a bike, but I thought that I’d give it a try with my husband’s mobility scooter. Because the seat post of the scooter is thicker than an average bike seat post, I had to place it on the back rest, but it worked. Now my husband isn’t afraid of taking our doggie out for a walk anymore.

I use this to take my 70 lb Labrador Retriever biking with me. It's a win-win for us. He needs to exercise, and I need to exercise. However, please don't forget to also exercise your common sense! LOL. I would refrain from using something like this if your dog is either: Very large or very small, very untrained, impulsive or apt to chase squirrels / bunnies / cats....or ANY other situation that might result in either you or your dog getting injured. I know my dog, and I know that he is gentle, respectful, obedient, smart, and intuitive. For an average, medium to large, well-behaved, athletic dog that needs exercise? This is awesome.
