   fits perfect. dog doesn’t like it, but that’s not a consideration i take under advisement. the purpose of it is to stop my dog from barking during walks. which i consider a nuisance, especially living in an apartment complex. though she is not aggressive, the fact that she doesn’t have the chance to bite if it ever occurred to her to do that is even better. it still allows her to pant and it’s a rubbery plastic so it’s flexible around her snout. stays in place even when she attempts to take it off.

   The new Yorkie sister, Sassy Girl (at the time about 9 mo. old) wanted to eat anything and everything she saw in the street when we started walking in the Spring. Everything around here, from Oak leaves and acorns to hydrangeas, to holly, seems to be toxic to dogs. We had a couple scares, with her eating items that I didn't even know what they were, much less knowing if they were toxic. I tried to make a net mask, like a breathing mask, but one wipe with the paw and it was off. I ordered an xs regular-type soft muzzle, and one shake of her head and it was off. If I tightened that one any tighter, it was across her eyes. The beak works great, although with her long tongue, she could still pick something up, but I no longer have to walk her with her front feet practically off the ground, to keep her from picking up everything. I can let her walk in a normal way, because watching her is easier, allowing me to still also watch big sister Buttons, who tries to pick up stuff occasionally. Sassy isn't thrilled that she has to wear it, but she tolerates it once I have it on her, and it does not ride up in to her eyes, even when she is smelling the mailboxes close-up. It is cute on her, and is definitely a life saver for her.

   hah! got this for my in-laws dog that I sometimes watch. He is a weenie dog and a total bully. Will attack my other dogs and is quite mean. I really did not want to resort to putting him in a crate. This did the trick....he was still a jerk but could not actually bite my dogs.He could still bark and eat treats with it on which I liked. He tried to get it off a bunch and could not. Great buy

   Purchased this for a Chihuaha puppy who doesn’t know when to quit biting/playing and torments my two older “chi-babies”. Material is soft, flexible, adjustable for a perfect fit and she can still drink with it on. Works so well, I was asked to order another one for my in-laws’ dog who snaps at them while she’s being brushed. I find it to be more humane than a traditional muzzle too.

   I don't know what I would have done without this muzzle. My 19-year-old Chihuahua mix rescue is going blind and senile--but still enjoys cuddling and her food--and I have to clean her eyes and apply drops very often during the day. She started reacting negatively to this eye treatment, screaming and biting. Other muzzles didn't help. This duck muzzle saved the day! It's easy to put on, she doesn't mind it at all, and I can easily put drops or medication in her eyes without a problem. Really, it saved our relationship--and saved me from being bitten. I highly recommend this muzzle! And my dog looks so cute wearing it too!

   Our Wiener Dogs had to go get their nails trimmed at a local event and they are older and dont tend to do well in crowds or with strangers so we bought this to see how it would work. Not only did it fit them PERFECT but it prevented any biting, stayed on them perfect the entire hour and also it looked funny which worked well around children so that the dogs didnt look intimidating.
