Bought this for my 3 1/2 year-old grandson based on the reviews and even that adults liked it. I was there when he opened it we put it together and it was very easy to assemble and he got the hang of it very quickly. Very interesting toy and so nice not to have batteries and songs and flashing lights. He really enjoys having all three vehicles on the track and keeping them all going. Love that the vehicles are all emergency vehicles… Firetruck, ambulance, police car. Super cool that the helicopter can pick up a vehicle and put it on the other side as that was a big hit for my grandson . Great toy and highly recommend!

This is a great toy! My 18 month and 4.5 year old grandsons love it, as does their Apa! Ignore the criticism that the car falls down the track- our kids need to develop problem solving skills, right? It just takes a little trial and error to find the right cadence for the cranking. This will become a frequent gift for little ones in our life!

Gifts that do not involve screens or videos or batteries, that do not flash or make annoying noises or "talk" in a squeaky voice that sets the dog to barking? This is the gift you want to give. Easy to assemble, fun for adults to play with before wrapping, perfect for little kids upon opening. A little challenging for the two-year-old to always keep the cars on the tracks and to line up the car with the helicopter for pick-up, but something to learn and grow into. The four-year-old declares it his favorite toy. This grandma loves it because it's kid-powered, appealing and sturdy, and who doesn't love to push buttons, turn cranks, close up a drawbridge. Very pleased I found this and broke my rule about no plastic gifts!

I got this for my grandson’s fourth birthday and he absolutely loves it ! He didn’t want to play with anything else , and literally played with this for hours . He loves figuring things out , so this toy is perfect for him. I highly recommend this toy. Even us adults had fun trying it out. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t buy more vehicles . So once the cars are lost , the toy is useless . I’ve tried Pixar cars mini cars and they don’t work .

This toy completely captured the attention of my 4-year old grand-nephew, right from the get-go. He probably played with it non-stop for the 1st 3 hours, and again later in the day. Thankfully, the pieces fit well, the cars run smoothly on the track and all the motion buttons work well - so far. Considering how non-stop he plays with it, I'm hoping it will last for a long time. I love that he is so intensely focused and engaged with it for hours; he tries his out-of-the-box schemes to make the track work differently than it was designed to do; and he's using his fine motor skills to test the different adaptations he wants to make. It's a wonderful toy and incredibly engaging. I only hope it can endure such long playing time!
