How To Use

Step 1: The first step in using our handheld sewing machines is to load the four AA batteries. The batteries go in the compartment on the bottom. After loading the batteries, the sewer should set up the bobbin and thread the machine.

Step 2: To position the thread correctly, you should locate the thread holder on the side. After pulling off the bobbin holder and spring underneath it, slide on the bobbin.

Step 3: The thread goes from the bobbin through the first thread guide on the needle arm, through the two plates in the tension control, and through the second thread guide at the end of the needle arm.

Step 4: The small sewing machine sews from left to right. Hold the fabric with the left hand, giving it some gentle tension, and turn the machine on, using the power switch on the top. The fabric feeds by itself into the machine.

I have a full size brother at home but needed to replace a handheld singer that was one bobbin only. The old one was ok for what it was if you made sure to tie it off right or the whole thing would implode. This new one is both top and bottom bobbins like a full size. Powerful and easy to use if you’re used to a full one.

I was pretty nervous about how this would work considering there are pretty mixed reviews on here but I have to say, it works great!! I don't do a lot of big sewing projects but I started doing more crafts that involved more sewing and I was really tired of hand sewing everything so I got this, not needing a full sewing machine but wanting something that was a step or two up from hand sewing. This is perfect for what I wanted!!

Great for the designed purpose. This is not sewing machine with all features as real one but for its designed purpose works great and it's easy to use (once I figured out that thread has to be tucked in between 2 disks and let loose over it :) ). There are nice instruction videos on youtube. Overall happy with purchase though they could include AC adapter in the box.
