As an African American with natural hair for about 8 years this was actually a very good flat iron. For my roots I had to use a my regular flat iron. . . But this gives that perfect bumb at the end of your hair. To me I'm able to achieve the wrap look without having to wrap my hair. Only important note is to make sure the iron is rotating away from the direction of your head and you'll be good. I found it very easy to use.

I was on the fence for a long time about this purchase but now that I have it I love it. Iâ€™ve used plenty of flat irons, but they give that too flat look. This straightens while maintaining volume and some body. It straightens, adds a little curl if you want and takes away frizz. I have naturally curly hair, I blow dry it out and use this to finish it off.
