For those of us who make a living at the computer, I think we deserve this.You also have to get the gold mousepad and a mouse that matches. Bling baby. I love the response and I personally think I type better on it, but that's just me I guess. Yeah, it's a must

This was originally a totally self-indulgent style buy for me. I didn't realize that it is a mechanical keyboard and why people buy these. OMG this is incredible to type on! I will never get a non-mechanical keyboard, again. And, I am sure that's where a lot of the price comes from, actually. But, even beyond that, it is just such a high quality piece of work. (Why do we buy cheap stuff for things we will literally use all day every day??)Originally, I imagined this thing was probably way overpriced but didn't care. Now, I see that this keyboard is really well priced for what it is -- not only a nice mechanical keyboard but made with great materials and workmanship and all this style too! Much more than just another mechanical keyboard even.

This is perfect! It has the ・・ｻﾂ・・ｻclicky・・ｻﾂ・・ｻ sounds, it doesn・・ｻﾂ・・ｻt feel cheaply made. It・・ｻﾂ・・ｻs actually pretty heavy for a keyboard. Highly recommend

OMG she loves it. She can't stop typing. It's a fun keyboard and she thinks it's the coolest thing ever. She works in an office all day and this is her new buddy. It's very comfortable, cool and blingy. Be advised that it's quite a space hog, but if you have plenty of room, it's an advantage as you have nice large keys to type on. The keystroke feedback is nice and it clicks nicely with each stroke. I love the sound. It could lull me off to sleep.

UPDATE: I've been using this keyboard for 6 months now and love it. Noise: satisfying and not too loud. Key action: excellent! I do find the reverse order of the shiftable keys more annoying that I thought they would be.I researched mechanical keyboards for use at my desk because I wanted to try something different. I am also a casual gamer, but didn't really buy it for that reason. My eyes bugged out when I came across the retro look of this one, but was unsure due to mixed ratings. So I purchased it thinking I'd try it and return if it bugged me. Sound: quite excellent.

I have Parkinson's and have been looking for a keyboard that I can use successfully for typing. This keyboard is working very well for my needs. I find that I'm not pressing two keys at a time as I was doing with other keyboards. It has a very comfortable touch, and it looks great! This is a heavy keyboard with really nice wood and and trim. I use this for my computer and needed to add a wrist rest to make it comfortable, and it's working great! The backlit keys are another plus, and the brightness of the light can be adjusted or turned off completely. The keys have a nice "click"
