   Perfect for infants. The broad light surface give a stable platform for hands, feet, forearms, elbows: whatever. The red light makes veins look black and stark against the red-lit skin. Even dark skinned infants cannot hide their veins from this light. For best results turn off the room lights, use a tourniquet, and rest the limb on top of the light. The light should be stood vertically with the base on the bed. I can one-handedly control the limb, stretch the skin tight, and press it all down onto the light. The only modification I would make would be to have the lens be slightly convex and flush with the rim of the case, so a hand or foot-sole is draped nicely over it and there are no uncomfortable edges. Be easier to clean, too.

   I work at a local fire department and at a pediatric hospital and as for someone who does a lot of ivs, this one of the best transilluminators I've used. It's more powerful than my wee sight but my wee sight is better shaped for some veins where I need to hold the limb and wii sight in one hand and the angio in the other. Other than that this product is great and the price is even better. In the field it's hard to use it when it's bright and sunny and you can't really dim the sun but in the hospital setting it's the best thing ever!

   Used for the first time on a patient who always has issues with having her blood drawn due to not being able to locate a vein. Works well as long as the room is dimly lit. I found a couple of potential veins, traced them with my pen while using the finder. I was able to use the marks to obtain a successful draw.

   Works very well as long as you dim the lights. Had to go to the hospital shortly after I got this, and the medic got the IV on the first stick. Never happens with me! As a retired paramedic myself, I'd definitely recommend this product!

   I work with newborn babies and this light is great. We compared other lights and really liked this one. The baby can wrap it's hand around it and give light to the whole hand. The level of light is perfect for the newborn but not as good for adults. I really like the covers to prevent infection, cross contamination. Highly recommernd especially at the price. There are more expensive ones that don't work as well on babies.
