Such a fun little toy! Watch the littles that like to put things in their mouth as this could potentially be a choking hazard. The little farmer is the only thing holding the “dirt” down so their is a little lift, not a huge deal. My daughter absolutely loves this little garden!

We absolutely love this! I bought it for my 2 year old and she has a blast with this little garden. It has been very helpful with teaching colors and working on coordination. The vegetables are well made, have fun colors, and the tops are holding up to some pretty energetic pulling, but be aware that the pieces are pretty small and for kiddos who still want to put things in their mouths, the round pieces are most definitely a choking hazard. My daughter is too young to be interested in playing with this as a memory game but I could see that being very fun for us in a few more months, and I’m confident the set will last long enough for us to get there (assuming I don’t lose too many pieces, which are pretty good at rolling under the couch!). This would be a lovely gift for kiddos who are learning about food/plants/gardens/colors or even just not trying to cram two pieces into one hole! In summary, perfect for little would-be gardeners who have outgrown putting things in their mouths.

The game is incredibly cute. There aren't really good instructions with it but you can make up variations with the materials provided. It's has so many teaching opportunities from growing gardens to motor skills to memory and matching games. And did I mention it is adorable? Although it is for younger kids, the older ones were fascinated with it. it's a keeper for our overcrowded games and toy closets.

This solid wood matching game is sure to be a favorite in the occupational therapy clinic. The vegetables need to be pushed into the brown and realistic material. It really looks like soil. Only the leafy part is visible when all 24 are pushed into the holes. This encourages the fine motor skills of pinch/grasp strength as well as eye/hand coordination. There are 8 pattern cards with three vegetables that need to be matched from memory in order to win the game. You can also simply match the vegetables and the player with the most pairs wins.

The game does not come with directions, which are found on line. My only complaint…..the pieces are described as carrots of different color and sizes. Most do not look like carrots. Your child may become confused, when they pull out a piece that resembles a round tomato. A good opportunity to familiarize your child with the different vegetables, as some resemble, peppers, radishes and squash. There are also two adorable bunnies that can be matched to make a pair. Very well made…..even the vegetable pieces. Something a bit unique in the wide variety of memory matching games.

This is a cute game that we are enjoying playing with our grandkids who are 5 and 3. We're calling it the Easter Bunny game - where are his carrots hidden? We mix up all the carrots and we all put them in the holes. Draw cards and pull the correct carrot combination out! Works on kids manual dexterity and memory. We are having lots of laughs and the 5 year old especially enjoys the challenge. A cute game for kids.
