I want the feel of being able to effectively slap someone in the head with it, this has some weight to it so I feel comfortable in that. I was a bit disappointed that the key combo to "Adjust for Light Speed" doesn't actually put you in Light Speed. No points off as this was just my misunderstanding. It has a satisfying "clack" sound, and feel as well like you actually hit a button. Very satisfying. It is very bright, which makes me feel safe while I am writing my Horror fan fiction at night. All in all I am quite happy with it.

UPDATE: I've been using this keyboard for 6 months now and love it. Noise: satisfying and not too loud. Key action: excellent! I do find the reverse order of the shiftable keys more annoying that I thought they would be.I researched mechanical keyboards for use at my desk because I wanted to try something different. I am also a casual gamer, but didn't really buy it for that reason. My eyes bugged out when I came across the retro look of this one, but was unsure due to mixed ratings. So I purchased it thinking I'd try it and return if it bugged me. Sound: quite excellent.

I have Parkinson's and have been looking for a keyboard that I can use successfully for typing. This keyboard is working very well for my needs. I find that I'm not pressing two keys at a time as I was doing with other keyboards. It has a very comfortable touch, and it looks great! This is a heavy keyboard with really nice wood and and trim. I use this for my computer and needed to add a wrist rest to make it comfortable, and it's working great! The backlit keys are another plus, and the brightness of the light can be adjusted or turned off completely. The keys have a nice "click"

I purchased this keyboard as its resembles an old Underwood typewriter I used to type on as a kid - well before PCs were in every home. I especially like the click sound, similar to the typewriter, when typing. (it is not made for a quiet office setting) I find the keys' have a nice light feel and normal travel.This keyboard is very well built. It appears it will last a long time. Although I didn't really buy it for the lighting on the keyboard, playing around with the various light settings is kinda cool. Ordered a week before Christmas, and it arrived a few days after, so I was very please with the quick turnaround, especially around that time of year.

I love this keyboard. I use it at work, and everyone who comes to my office comments on how cool and unique it is. But the main reason I bought it is that I type a lot, and am a very fast typist. I actually enjoy typing on this keyboard, you get the satisfying click as you press keys. It makes me feel more productive, lol
