I love this heater! It is the first and only one I have so I don't have a lot to compare it to. My only regret is not buying a bigger one - at least one size up. We use it for our son's outdoor sporting events and, unless we have the easy up with the sidewalls up, it doesn't really heat a large area. It would if we were in an enclosed area but if there's any sort of wind, you really have to be right up on it. Of course, that is probably the case with a bigger one too. I just think maybe if it put out a bit more heat it would work better for us. Besides that, this one is great! It's lightweight and easy to handle. It has a safety feature where it turns off if it's kicked or bumped over so I don't have to worry about that with a bunch of kids running around. They make a carrying case for it but it fits perfectly in our utility tote that I carry the rest of our gear in, so we didn't need that. Overall, it's great and we'll probably upgrade to the bigger model soon!

This is a great tent or "cold room" heater. Works with any of the Coleman small green tanks. But if you want longer run time I would suggest getting the 20lb tank adapter. One small green tank will run it about 6 to 8 hours setting on low. Much lighter than i had thought which I liked. It also has a swivel out connector making it very easy to replace the tanks when needed. A small magnetic holds the tank in place keeping it from flopping around. Can't go wrong with this unit!

Purchased this for camping in December, but where it rocked my world is during the February 2021 Texas/ERCOT disaster. My elder “all electric” neighbors had ZERO heat. Dangerously cold conditions for days. Mr. Heater Buddy may have saved a life. Made a warm smile, for sure. Easy operation, great instructions. Safety features. No regrets. Would recommend to a friend. Or anyone, really.

Using for emergency heat when power went out. This little heater really cranks out the heat. However it is a gas hog, using 1 small propane cannister for just about two hours of heat with setting on low. It heat up my living room area (about 300sq ft and kept me and my dog from freezing during the bad snow storm in February. I attached a hose with big tank so so I could run longer, however I was not sure if having a 20lb tank of propane in the house was really a good idea. But for an emergency situation this was great. I worried about carbon monoxide too. But felt since I had the heater sitting in front of my fireplace (no fire!) with flu open, it was adequate air flow.

I love this! Okay, so seriously, this heater is awesome. Reliable, easy, safe, and versatile. Runs off the little 1lb propane tanks, fires up in a breeze, has an automatic shutoff for low oxygen sensor and a tilt sensor (in case it gets knocked over), and you can pick it up while it's running without it being hot on the handle. Oh, and the rear wall mount adapters already built in are great for mounting in your workshop, shed or garage for tinkering around on the snowblower, leaf blower or just getting out of the house for a few hours.

this heater is awesome. I bought it to add to my preparedness kit for when the power goes out. but ive been using it to pre heat my living room while my electric radiant heater warms up. this thing can hit way above its weight class. it says heat up to 225square feet but. I have a very big living room. an in a few minutes it is toasty .. so. I think every family should have one for one reason or another. they are handy well built work great. .......but please. use common sense. it does have a flame it is propane an just because its working great 1 day dont mean it will be optimal the next day. so get a carbon detector. if you're going to run one.. better safe than sorry
