   Does the job - the magnet is fairly powerful, holds my outside patio door open even in a stiff breeze. It's fairly straightforward to install - you pretty much get what you see in the picture as far as sizes and height of the magnet go. (And a shim or two underneath is fairly standard and not hard to do if your door-to-floor height is excessive!)

   This is a very well made door stop, but make sure you measure twice and consider *exactly* how much clearance you have beneath your door before ordering. While this successfully works as a stopper in several locations in our house, the magnetic surfaces of stopper and door-side component only have enough overlap to actually hold one of our doors open with much staying power.

   This helps keep a swinging metal gate open on a vertical platform lift so that my husband can get in the elevator without having to move backward while opening the door to get on the lift. Has just the right amount of "hold". We can easliy pull on the door to get it to swing shut.

   You cannot use if the door is had a bigger gap in the bottom. Strong magnet to stop the door from slamming shut. I had to make a wood block to raise the magnet off of the floor to meet the bottom of the door.

   This product works really well and is quite strong. I bought it to hold a pretty heavy door in place and it is holding it with ease. I was quite surprised at how heavy and substantial the product is. I would recommend this product.

   I bought this because I have a dog and my old door stopper was like a bump, so when I vacuum I couldn't go over it and I am too lazy to use the handheld attachment. So having something flat on the floor is PERFECT. I can sweep or vacuum right over it. Also I don't have to have anything sticking out on my wall. I love the chrome finish, it matches with my bathroom fixtures. We did have an issue with install because we wanted to screw it into previous holes and the magnet on the door did not line up with the holes on the floor. We ended up cutting the magnet to make it fit and move it over so it lines up with our existing holes. It still works perfectly. If you were installing fresh, you would not have any issue. This is a great product.
