No Extra Adjustment Settings: The Squirrels Trouble is an individually spring-loaded protection device that never needs adjusting, just attach the spring at the top of the support pole-it is ready to go straight to bounce the squirrel away. Not worrying about squirrels and other pests anymore!

Appropriate Design – in perfect 14-18 inch diameter that is needed for aggressive squirrels. Anything smaller than 14-18 inches and the large squirrels can stretch and reach around to defeat the squirrel baffle guard. Squirrels cannot climb the pole any longer to get to the bird seed. Flying squirrels will also fly to the ground if they try to jump from trees as the wobble feature will force them to slip off the baffle.

Proper Installation – Squirrels can jump between 4 to 4½ feet vertically, so the squirrel baffles should be a minimum of 5 feet from the ground to protect the bird feeder. The 14-18 inch wrap around squirrel baffle has a take apart design and can quickly attach to existing bird feeder poles or shepherd hooks. Additional pieces that will hold the cover are tapped to the bottom of the unit.

The squirrels in my yard do not like it. This works well. The squirrels touch it then go away, they do not even try to climb it. The only issue was installation. I had to slide the clips on the ends back so I could coil thread the device on my feeder pole. Just a small inconvenience easily taken care of with a needle nose pliers.

This has completely stopped the chipmunks and squirrels from getting to my bird feeders! It was difficult to line up the holes to mount the actual hoods (it is in two pieces) and the holes/shape are slightly misaligned, making it very difficult to mount together since it is a thick metal. But, once I wrangled it up, it sure does that job!

This product really works! I bought 1 and came back and bought 2 more. Mine are mounted on the pole below the feeders and have worked very well to keep the squirrels out of the feeders. I've only seen 1 get to the feeder and expect that he jumped from a tree. Since moving the pole further out, I've been squirrel free, except for the scraps they pick up off the ground.

I have 2 hanging birdfeeders on a pole. (Previously squirrel feeders.) I tried moving the pole. Greasing the pole. Spraying critter repellent on the pole. None of these worked (although it was strangely satisfying to watch them slowly slide down the pole after I greased it with vasoline for the first 1 or 2 times before they figured out how to deal with it).

Put this baffle on. For the first day or two they were confused - they got to the baffle, tried to grab on, and fell of as it tilted and dumped then. After that they stopped bothering to try.
