Standing an impressive 34cm tall, this fantastic fully-finished replica is made of special material and shows extraordinary levels of detail and accuracy thanks to Bandai’s extensive use of the latest tech data and photo references. The intricate heat-resistant tile detail is there, plus all the NASA markings accurately designed and beautifully applied.

The Orbiter, External Fuel Tank (ET), and Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB) can separate to depict the Endeavour in any of its mission configurations， revealing even more incredible detail inside.

The ISS (International Space Station) -use RMA (Remote Manipulator Arm) can be positioned to manipulate the MPLM (Multi-Purpose Logistics Module), with clear display stands included to facilitate realistic posing.

With NASA’s fleet of Space Shuttles slated for retirement in 2011 (the Endeavour’s last flight was in May 2011, and the final Shuttle flight (Atlantis) was in July of 2011).

I bought this as a gift for my 4 year old nephew who is crazy about space shuttles. He has all kinds, but none with a booster like this one. I was very impressed by the size of it. It elicited a great reaction and it was immediately taken from the package and was flown about the house, the boy twice approached me and explained "Auntie, I REALLLLY like this toy!!!" So it was WELL worth it. He is relatively gentle on toys, but the little brother is not, and so far has withstood constant detaching, reattaching, dropping (on hardwood) and intense love. So far so good!

The detail is very nice on this toy and the build quality is good. I am displaying this toy on the launch pad but I really like the way the toy comes apart to the main pieces of shuttle, boosters, external tank as well as retracting landing gear and operable bay doors with a grappling arm and satellite. The toy astronauts are cast rubber and are very durable and like the shuttle have very nice detail.

Our preschooler loves this toy. As other reviewers have noted, the "robotic arm" is incredibly flimsy. We removed it almost as soon as we set it up, as the little pieces constantly fall apart and are easily swallowed by younger children. We had similar concerns for the solar panels on the space telescope. But, even with those parts removed, our preschooler loves this toy. We have had it for three months and it is played with frequently and not-very-gentley. It spends its non-play time tossed in the bottom of a toy trunk. And yet, even the plastic connector pins to snap the boosters, fuel tank, and shuttle are intact and functional.
