I purchased these for my kids (7 and 10) because they both mouth-breathe due to tongue-tie. Our oral-facial therapist recommended that they use first-aid tape to tape their mouths at night for better sleep but the first-aid tape leaves a residue and is painful to remove. They love that the Somnifix are easy to get on and off, and have a mesh area that allows you to breathe if you should feel anxious about having it on. I notice that my son seems more rested after he sleeps with one on. We use them several times a week and I'm just glad that the kids feel comfortable with them. I think it's reduced his nasal congestion which comes as a result of the heavy mouth breathing at night. A great product and a good value.

These were a HUGE step up from the medical tape I used before!! The tiny breathing mesh in the center takes away any angst you might have about taping your mouth shut. My dentist originally told me about mouth taping and it was really life changing. Not only do I no longer annoy my husband with snoring, it's brought such awareness to my breathing during the day. Good quality breathing is so important to good health and this has been a fantastic discovery!

Light pressure, but enough to work if traditional medical CPAP is too much. I am on day 2, with the ear straps this works great. I do not snore, and feel rested. My CPAP was super annoying, this is a dream in comparison. I have a Larger nose, but the nostril plugs are soft silicone and not abrasive...but might be too much for smaller nostrils. No size adjustments... For thr money it was worth it for me. Even when the battery dies, this still keeps nostrils open enough to work.

I go through my day habitually nose breathing. However, once I go to sleep, I start mouth breathing, and I snore like crazy. After the first night I used this strip, I noticed that my nose wasn't clogged at all. I'm usually congested until I take a hot shower. My wife told me that I slept silently, not the slightest snoring sound. To prove it, she recorded one night without the strip and one night with. The results sleep for themselves. Our family of 4 (2 teens, my husband and I) stayed in a hotel recently. I was dreading it because the last time we all stayed in one room, my teens told me I woke them up with my snoring. I decided to give these a try... an inexpensive shot in the dark. The first night, I tried the magnetic clip. And continued the next 3 days because of the comfort and results. Each of the 4 mornings that we woke up in the same room, I asked my family if they heard me snore and all said NO!! To that end, no one was any the wiser as the little clips were discreet and I could slip it on as I was laying down for the night and remove it so easily as I got up. I appreciated the little case they came in, to keep them from getting dirty or lost. I'm glad I tried them!
