I purchased this product as an anniversary gift for my husband, and let me tell you I can't wait to give it to him. In the meanwhile my kids and I are enjoying it to the fullest extent permitted until we give it away as the intended gift. I love the fact that it takes time to create different shapes upon each turn. My kids run and jump of excitement when an art form is fully created and I secretly join them. It's a perfect gift for anyone truly. My only wish was for it to play some kind of music to enhance the relaxing effect further more. Truly an amazing little thing! I love it!

Awesome. I must note the packaging was superb. Absolutely gallery-quality art and packaging. Bravo. Stunning piece that people really enjoy. I bought this one for my Dad and to go on my folks’ coffee table, which is patina bear on its back (a lot less horrible than it sounds, it’s actually quite nice itself as it’s not mass produced but artist made) with a beveled glass top. The round sandscape echoes the mountains of our world here and it’s absolutely perfect together- I need to add a photo after I clean up after Christmas morning!

I've only had this about two days, but so far it's perfect and I've seen/had no issues. I already had an art piece similar to this one in a different color, but it was much more expensive/hand made/bought from a gallery. There aren't much differences between the two, and I can display them side-by-side and they match up just fine and you really can't tell which one is the "higher end" version.

These types of items come with a syringe so you can mess about with air flow; this one comes already adjusted, so you don't have to do anything to it when you take it out of the box. If you DO decide to add or remove air, you have to be very careful because of possible seal popping; so don't go crazy. Less is more in this case, for sure. Since this one was already adjusted and it suits my needs fine for now, I haven't had to add or remove air yet on this piece yet.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is an abstract painter and he absolutely loves it. Has developed some techniques of moving and shaking lightly in ways to create different kinds of effects, such as a line of bubbles that form a blockade that holds the sand much longer. Finds it very soothing, meditative, and inspiring of his own art.
