It's a pain to fold into the slot but it's size means you can bring it on any outing just because you can, and inevitably you'll find yourself needing a mat and tadaaa you have one in your everyday bag. Mine had a hole in it though but Matador was nice enough to send a free replacement, and let me keep the hole-y one.

I can't believe how big the actual blanket is inside this tiny pouch. It wouldn't keep you warm at night but it's perfect for a picnic blanket and easily fits two adults. The small stakes are a nice feature to keep the corners down. Perfect to take backpacking! I keep it in my car's glove box so it's always handy.

I bought this to use a bonnaroo this year. It worked great, it's very compact and easy to fold if you follow the stitched guidelines. It's technically a "blanket" but it feels like a tarp. It serves its purpose tho in providing a spot to sit down on. 2 of us did nap on it successfully.

Perfect for Disneyland and parades. I don't think I fold it right, but it still fits back in case. Small enough to keep in purse on regular basis. Has come in handy in random, unexpected moments. This was a gift for my DIL, who travels a lot and often on very long flights (coach). I don’t know how easy it was to fold up after use, because I was afraid to test it. I also can’t rate the water Resistance for that reason. My son and DIL travel to Australia and I hope they can use it for picnics also.
