I came across the branded item which was way more expensive, but then saw this and thought it was worth the price to add some color, light, and design to my office that I am using more now. The first thing I noticed is that these are lighter plastic than I was expecting and afraid to drop this. Each hexagon is a good 4” size for a total of 2 feet length. They are very easy to install with the USB cord noticeably hanging down the wall and each hexagon being connected to your design through mini usb connectors that communicate to each other. I like that it also has the option to touch it for added control. The connection option of this is via screws or the sticky pads that I never have success from. It does have a remote that allows you to change the color around, but wish it did also have added app functionality. The color output from this is surprisingly vivid and bright. I like the option to add more in the future if I wanted to. I would recommend this if you plan to stick to a design secured by a screw, don’t mind thin casing, no app, want customizable custom color in a modern wall art.

It’s a really neat lighting system that’s easy to assemble. The colors are bright in a well lit room and are also dimmable. There are different programs you can use to cycle through the colors. If you plan to plug this into a smart outlet and cycle it’s power, it will reset all its colors back to white.
