This lathe was perfect for giving me a taste of wood turning. The base is made of strong metal tracks. Even though its tiny compared to the standard size, it is enough for me to get used to turning and to enjoy it. The only downside is the headstock does not grip the wood so well and it can loosen over time. Still, this can easily be fixed by taking it out the wood and hammering it back in.

This listing is now discontinued, but you can find very similar listing still. It works but you do need to be running at at least 8-10v to have the speed to cut with. The bed is very small, so upgrading can help with adding accessories like a better tailstock. I bought a different tailstock and made an adaptor using 3D printing to make dial knobs.

Very impressive quality. Works without problems. Use for hobby, modeling, diorama. Relatively small parts made of wood and small parts made of copper or brass work very well. The chisels that come with the kit are not of very high quality, but I don’t think that people who buy the device need them. I am completely happy, writing a review after a few months after using it.
