Both products are extremely easy to use! They both are wonderful products that help to make life easier, but the sock helper has been a lifesaver because I had gotten to where that I could NOT bend to put my own socks on and I live alone, so I went several days (in COLD weather) without socks! Miserable days! I recommend these products to anyone who has trouble bending over. . .

Following back surgery, the grabber reacher tool is great for reaching things without bending over. It's easy to operate and it grabs things securely. The sock aid assist kit enables independent putting on of socks again without bending over which protects my back which is healing.

I love this grabber! It picks up even dust bunnies if I see one on the floor and can't bend to pick it up. The edges are of a plastic material that grips whatever you're picking up so you can get the smallest thing from the floor very easily. I haven't used it to reach high places so don't know how effective it is at doing that. The handle has indentations for fingers so it's very easy to hold onto it. As for the sock puller even though the design is rudimentary at best it actually works!

The sock assist is wonderful. I had a hip replacement and could not lean over to put on my socks. It was a real fight to get them on. Now with the sock assist, it is so easy to get my socks on. It's a wonderful invention. I may just keep using it even when I don't need to.

I have not used the grabber reach tool much. Mind does not come all the way together where you pick up things, so it is somewhat useless.

I recommend just getting the sock assist if you can or unless you really need the reacher.

Bought these for my mom who has diabetes and can no longer put her own socks on. She called me the day after to thank me. She is so happy that she can put her own socks on now and doesnt have to rely on anyone. She said the grabber is sturdier than the ones she already owns. These products have helped give my mom a little more of her independence back.
