Right out of the box, it only took one try to get the moon levitating on it's own and it was ready to go. I turned it on, and was very impressed by how much light it gave off. It never stops rotating, even when it's off and makes a great addition to my bedroom. I'd highly recommend this.

I was worried that it would look chintzy or not operate well. Turns out it looks great and works perfectly. It was easy to set up. I was surprised to see that it constantly spins on its own. I especially love the setting which changes the color from white to an orange glow.

I cannot speak to the longevity of this as I just got mine. That being said, it is cool, a great conversation piece, and the amount of light that it puts out is perfect for my dimly-lit room. It was easy to set up. Note that it does not levitate as high as seen in the pictures, the moon hangs about 1" above the base. It took me about a minute to get it in the correct position to leviatet. Note that if it loses power, you have to manually reposition it to get it working again but it does stick to the magnetic base, so it won't roll off on the floor and get damaged if it loses power.
