Of all the gates this is the best one. I love how it is retractable and it looks good whether it・・s open or close. It is also very easy for people who do not know how to use a baby gate to close. You are able to close it with one hand. Just you have to make sure you twist the knob to lock it. The white matches white wall perfectly. And it is heavy duty and strong enough that my baby can lean against it and it will not open or band. Installation was easy. It also comes with additional hardware so you can place the same gate in different doorways which doubles the value.

We have a very small dog that used to like to get up (off our bed) in the night. We・・d shut the bedroom for to prevent her from doing so but ended up with uneven heating and cooling to our bedroom. Installed this at the bedroom door and now she only gets down if she needs to go out rarely. Great product super easy to install and temporarily remove if you want to
