A bit bulky feeling but def does the job of feeling secure you won’t drop dogs leash. My Yorkie is a runner and I fear dropping leash as I have in the past. You need to check it every so often the metal connector doesn’t loosen. Justvretighten time to time. Overall does what I need so I recommend.

My only complaint at month 2 is that I really wish it wasn't so short. My old retractable was twice as long with a housing about the same size.

My only complaint at month 2 is that I really wish it wasn't so short. My old retractable was twice as long with a housing about the same size.

However, it is nice having a small retractable leash that's mounted to my manual wheelchair, not just a handle around my handle.

And I doubt that the length would really be much of an issue if the dog areas for my building were accessible to me and Delilah was cool pooping that close to the curb.

I don't think id trust this leash to stop a 40 lb dog if they took off hard.
