This did exactly what I wanted it to. Cut my hair short. The directions said to start with short hair. I ignored that, you know since the "lockdown" and all that had my hair long and crazy. I charged it up, and ran it over my head. About 5 minutes later I was pretty much done. Needed a bit more time to even it out. It does have a bit of a hard time around the ears, but this set came with a separate trimmer so no big deal. It will cut short, so I would suggest using it on the longest hair setting first. It is easy to hold and has lithium batteries. I mention that, because they was an older model that had nimh batteries.

and drives to the Barbershop. Who enjoys sitting around waiting for a haircut? Not me. These clippers were designed for maintaining a short cut, mainly a buzzcut. If you have long hair, it will take longer to cut it all. Be sure to charge it as directed and oil before use and after cleaning. It just feels more natural using these cluppers than ordinary clippers. I have never experienced any hair pulling or nicks when using them. Go slow and take your time, you'll be fine.

This is a update. These clippers are hard to use for cutting the

hair around your ears. You need to use the tiny trimmers that are included. I have noticed that these clippers have a hard time cutting the top edges on my head. In all honesty, I would give these clippers a 9 out of 10. By using these clippers, I have saved quite a bit of money and time. These clippers were made for maintaining a short haircut like a buzzcut or shorter.

This trimmer WORKS! Look I'll keep it short. I've read some reviews claiming this thing is crap but that wasn't my experience. I used it for the first time last night. I have a pompadour hairstyle (quite long on top and very short on the sides). I set it to level 2 and just rubbed it with even pressure all around my head being careful not to get too close to the top. It worked great. Now be warned it does the bulk of the work but you still need a regular old trimmer to fade the bottom neck line and the temple areas. If you don't use a small regular trimmer to fade these spots it tends to look a bit patchy. But if you let the Even Cut do 90% of the area and fade it with a pair of electric trimmers along the edges it looks pro. Honest. Anyways, I added three pictures to prove it.

I am 85 and until a couple of years ago, my wife would use my set of clippers w/o any attachments and clip me down to the scalp. Up until covid I would go to the local College Beauty/ Barber school. Now with my ConairMan I am able to do it myself closer than my wife could and equal to a Barber unless he/she shaved it!

The first charge, I accidentally turned it on before I plugged it in to charge, and it obviously could not charge to operate. After checking a couple of times and not charging I got smart and got enough light on the switch to see that I had turned it on. Once I turned it off and let it charge fully, I buzzed my head successfully! I Love it!!!!!

Received this yesterday, charged it up for 16+ hours (as stated in instructions) and tried it out this morning. Worked great, very easy to use and produced a nice, even cut (my hair was already cut to a number 5, 5/8"). I would have liked it going up to a number 5 cut, but 4 is OK. I am looking forward to keeping my hair nicely trimmed without having to go to the barber every week. This isn't for people who want their hair longer than 1/2". I saw a number of reviews complaining about battery life. I suspect this is because instructions weren't followed. You have to charge it for at least 16 hours before first use. You then should fully discharge it (run it until it stops) and charge for 16 hours two more times to condition the battery.

It works for me but you have to have other items to do a good trim job because this rotary clipper will not trim around your ears. If you don't want your hair real short you won't like it because even with it's longest hair attachment your hair will still only be about 3/8 of an inch long. But I like my hair cut short so it suits me to a T. You do have to move it in all directions to get an even cut and if your hair is long to start with, it is not going to cut it very well.
